Day 01: Arrive Bodhgaya
Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Gaya airport by our company’s representative and transferred to your hotel for 02 nights stay.
Day 02: Bodhgaya (Nalanda & Rajgir excursion)
After breakfast, embark on your day trip to visit Nalanda - the ancient university town of Bihar state, which takes back to the days of Buddha and Mahavira in the Sixth Century B.C and the Rajgir the “abode of kings” an important religious place for Buddhist, Jains and Hindus. Throughout the Buddha period Rajgir was the capital of Magadha kingdom, ruled by King Bimbisara.
Evening after completing bother sites, drive back to Bodhgaya for the night stay.
Day 03: Bodhgaya > Varanasi
This morning after breakfast, visit Bodhgaya including Mahabodhi Temple - a historical place from early age where Lord Buddha’s enlightenment took place, Bodhi Tree – a famous tree under which lord buddha meditated, the great Buddha Statue – one the tallest statue of Lord Buddha in the country.
You can also visit several monasteries and temples built by the peoples from different-different countries. Later embark on your drive towards to Varanasi which is also known as Banaras and check into your hotel for 02 nights stay.
Later in the evening if interested one can enjoy the Grand Aarti ceremony conducted by the young priests every evening …
Day 04: Varanasi
Early in the get ready to enjoy “boat ride” on the Holy Ganges and witness how this holy city comes alive along the sunrise see the “bathing Ghats” where pilgrims pay homage to the rising “Sun” by dipping themselves in the holy water of Ganges, also see the “burning Ghats” where cremations are conducted.
Later after breakfast, enjoy city tour of Varanasi visiting the various temples including the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Monkey Temple, Tulsi Masas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Banaras Hindu University etc.
Later visit the ruins, various Stupa’s, Buddhist temple and Sarnath Museum of Sarnath, situated at an outskirt of the city. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment.
Day 05: Varanasi > Kushinagar
After breakfast, embark on your leisure drive towards to Kushinagar, where Lord Buddha attained the state of Mahaparinirvana “Salvation” at the age of 80 years.
Upon arrival check into your hotel in Kushinagar for a night stay. Later after freshen up visit Nirvana Temple, Nirvana Stupa, Rambhar Stupa, Mathakuar Shrine, Kushinagar Museum and the temples built by Chinese and Japanese peoples.
Day 06: Kushinagar > Sravasti
After breakfast, embark on your drive towards to Sravasti where Lord Buddha performed his first miracle.
Upon arrival check into your hotel for a night stay. Later after freshen up visit Saheth and Saheth, Sobhanath Temple, Angulimala Caves and Stupa etc.
Day 07: Sravasti > Lumbini
This morning after finishing your breakfast, embark on your drive towards to Lumbini the birth land of Lord Buddha.
Upon arrival check into your hotel in Lumbini for a night stay. Later visit the Birth place on Lord Budhha, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar etc.s
Day 08: Lumbini > Pokhara
This morning as you finish your breakfast, embark on your scenic drive towards to Pokhara – the gateway to the Himalayas.
Upon arrival check into your hotel for a night stay. Rest of the day at leisure to take a leisure walk around your hotel
Day 09: Pokhara
Early morning, embark on your short drive to Saraangkot to have a breath taking view of rising sun, Annapurna range and fishtail (Virgin Mountains).
Later after breakfast proceed for a guided sightseeing of Pokhara Valley visiting Bindebasini Temple, Old Bazaar, Devi’s Water Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and Tibetana Refugee Camps etc.
Day 10: Pokhara > Kathmandu
After breakfast, embark on your drive Kathmandu a major place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of this mountainous nation of Nepal
Upon arrival check into your hotel in Kathmandu for 2 nights stay. Rest of the day at leisure to take a leisure walk through the bustling bazaars of Kathmandu
Day 11: Kathmandu
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square - the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. Temples and other important buildings surrounded the old royal palace at the center of the city. This is the most important sight of Kathmandu to observe the culture and religion of this beautiful country.
Later in the afternoon visit, Swayambhunath which is one of the most important and oldest site of Buddhist worship in Nepal. Also visit the temple city of Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva and renowned in Nepal situated on the bank of Bagmati River.
Day 12: Kathmandu (Departure)
Today, assistance on departure at your hotel and transferred to Kathmandu International airport to catch your flight to fly back home with the sweet memories of our India and Nepal Buddhist Tours…
