Golden Triangle with Khajuraho Varanasi

Day 01: Arrive Delhi                
You will be welcomed traditionally by our company’s representative at Indira Gandhi International airport and transferred to your hotel for two nights stay.

Day 02: Day in Delhi
After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel and will take you to explore the ancient Old Delhi and the imperial New Delhi.

Old Delhi, covering Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, then move towards to the historical Red fort to click yourself on your camera’s with this huge historical fort, then its time to enjoy an exciting Rickshaw ride through the narrow long-winded lanes of Chandni Chowk to Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque of the country built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who built the Taj Mahal with a courtyard capable of holding more than 20,000 devotees.

New Delhi, established by the Britishers with spacious tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings, covering India Gate - built in the memory of those soldiers who laid down their lives during the 1st World War. Drive Pass Parliament, the President House and the Governments buildings, then move through the Diplomatic area towards to Qutab Minar – one of the tallest and famous towers in the world. The minaret is more than 230 feet high and is the highest individual tower in the world.

Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur (265 Kms / 6 hrs)   
This morning, embark on your drive to Pink City Jaipur through the beautiful countryside. Upon arrival check into your hotel for 02 nights stay. Rest of the day at leisure to relax at your hotel   

Day 04: Jaipur                 
This morning, meet with your tour guide and proceed for a guided city tour of Pink city Jaipur  covering Amber fort situated on a high hill where you will be enjoying Elephant ride to ascend this huge for, Amber fort is one of the great example of Indo-Islamic architecture and ornamentations.

Later in the afternoon, visit the Imposing City Palace complex with its various museums where you can see several amazing collection of Royal Rajputs weapons and miniature paintings. Then visit the largest stone observatory (Jantar Mantar) an astronomical observatory built by Raja Jai Singh II during the 18th century. Also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace on Winds) the signature building of Pink city Jaipur built for the royal ladies with semi-octagonal and delicate honey-combed sandstone windows.

Evening at leisure to discover various facets of Jaipuri crafts such as precious & semi-precious jewels, multi-coloured embroidered fabrics with crystal work, pottery, woven carpets etc – see local artisans at work and if wish then may enjoy souvenir shopping here.


Day 05: Jaipur – Agra, via Fatehpur Sikri (238 kms / 05 hrs)                 
This morning, embark on your scenic drive through the beautiful countryside to the city of Taj Mahal. En-route to Agra, visit Fatehpur Sikri the former capital of great Mughals built in red sandstone during the 16th century by the Great Akbar (Mughal Emperor) as city of victory and suddenly abandoned after 14 years due to scarcity of water.

Then embark on your short drive to Agra, check in at your hotel for a night stay. Later after freshen-up meet with your guide and enjoy visiting one of the wonder of the world TAJ MAHAL built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah – Jehan in memory of his favourite wife MUMTAJ MAHAL. Also visit, Agra fort – an outstanding example of the great Mughals architecture built for military establishment initially and many buildings and Palaces were added later for their residential purpose.  

Day 06: Agra – Khajuraho (By Train)            
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra Railway station to catch your Train UDZ KURZ Express (Dep. 1105 hrs / Arrr. 1930 hrs) to Khajuraho. Assistance upon arrival at Khajuraho Railway station and transfer to your hotel for a night stay

Day 06: Khajuraho – Varanasi (By flight)             
After an early breakfast, meet with your tour guide and proceed for a guided city tour of Khajuraho visiting the famous erotic temples of Khajuraho which is also known as Kama Sutra Temples built by the Chandela dynasty between 950 to 105 AD.

Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Khajuraho airport to catch your flight to the Varanasi the Spiritual capital of India which is also known as Banara and Kashi.   

Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel for 02 nights stay. Later in the evening enjoy the grand ‘Aarti’ ceremony conducted every evening by the special priests. The young priests sway in superficially choreographed movements, worshiping the river goddess with flowers, earthen lamps and incense sticks.

Day 07: Varanasi            
Early morning enjoy boat ride on Holy River Ganges and experience how this holy city comes alive with the sunrise see the bathing ghats where pilgrims pay homage to Lord Surya (Sun) taking holy dip on Sacred Ganges, also see the cremation sites along the Ganges.

Later, visit the several temples along with the other attractions of the city covering Bharat Mata temple with a big Marble map of the county, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Durga temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Benaras Hindu University and its art gallery. Golden Triangle India

Evening at leisure to explore the city on your own…  
Day 08: Varanasi – Delhi (by flight)              
After breakfast, visit the Sarnath where Lord Budhha gave his first sermon after enlightenment visit the ruins, Buddhist temples, Stupa and Museum (closed on Friday). Later you will be transferred to Varanasi airport to catch your flight to Delhi 

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi International airport to catch your flight to fly back home.
