Golden Triangle with Kerala

Duration: 11 Nights / 12 Days

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for 02 nights stay.

Day 02: Day in Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of India, Rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk upto Red fort – the historical fort built by Mughals.

Also visit India Gate – the war memorial site, Parliament and President House, Government Buildings built during the British Raj, then move through the Diplomatic area to visit Qutab Minar – one of the most popular historical towers in the world.

Day 03: Delhi > Jaipur (262 Kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on your drive to Jaipur – the capital of colourful Rajasthan which is widely known as Pink City Jaipur.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for 02 nights stay. Rest of the day at leisure to relax at your hotel or own activities

Day 04: Day in Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of Jaipur visiting The Amber fort where you will enjoy an exciting Elephant ride to ascend the fort – the amber fort is one of the of the great example of Mughals and Rajputs architecture

Later after lunch visit City Palace – one of the major tourist attraction of Jaipur built between 1729 and 1732, Jantar Manter (The Observatory) – the largest stone observatory of the world and at last finish your city tour with a five storied remarkable Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) built by Maharaja of Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur > Agra (244 kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on your drive to Agra through the picturesque countryside via visiting Fatehpur Sikri if interested.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for a night stay. Later proceed for a guided city tour of Agra visiting the historical fort of Agra which serve Mughals and played an important role to control the surrounding kingdoms during their ruling period. Then your tour will finish with a visit to one of wonders of the world “Taj Mahal” built by the great Mughal Shah–Jahan in the memory of his most loving wife Mumtaj Mahal.

Most of the tourists visit Taj Mahal by the dawn and dusk and appreciate its incredible beauty with sun-rays.
 
Day 06: Agra > Delhi / Kochi (by flight)            
After breakfast, embark on your drive through newly built Yamuna Express highway to Delhi airport to catch your flight to Kochi.

Upon arrival at Kochi airport, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for a night stay. Evening at leisure on your own  

Day 07: Kochi to Munnar (130 kms / 3 hrs)             
After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of kochi visiting Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) which was initially and presented to king of Kochi built by the Portuguese, built by the Portuguese and later modified, the oldest St Francis Church built by the Portuguese in 16th century and Chinese fishing Nets a different way to catch fishes which attract tourist many tourists from across the globe.

After that, embark on your scenic drive to Munnar one of the beautiful hill station of southern India popularly known for its natural scenic beauty. Upon arrival check into your hill resort for 02 nights stay.

Day 08: Day in Munnar
After breakfast, enjoy your guided sightseeing of Munnar situated at altitude of 1600 meter from the sea level with the confluence of three mountain streams Nallathanni, Mudrapuzha and Kundale. At Munnar Town visit Mattupetty lake which is one of the beautiful picnic spot, appreciate its tranquil atmosphere and may enjoy boating (optional) in the lake

Also visit Eravikulam National the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr (rare mountain goat) and home of highest peak of South India Aniamundi (2695m). Then finish your tour with a visit to famous tea plantation and tea museum whick makes your kerala holiday more memorable, you can satiate your curiosity on different stages of tea processing and may learn about the production of black tea.

Day 09: Munnar to Thekkady (110 kms / 3 hrs)             
After breakfast, embark on your drive through the picturesque tea plantations and blue hills towards to Thekkady which is also known as Periyar. Thekkady sprawled over an area of 777 square kilometres and well-known for its Periyar National park and the spice plantations  
 
Upon arrival at Thekkady check into your hotel for a night stay. Later enjoy visiting the famous spice gardens of pepper, cardamom, vanilla, clove, nutmeg etc. followed by Elephant ride to make your Thekkady visit more memorable.

Day 10 : Thekkady to Kumarakom (120 Kms / 3 hrs)   
After breakfast, embark on your scenic drive towards to Kumarakom a cluster of several little islands on the Vembanad Lake set amidst coconut groves and panoramic view of the backwaters.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for a night stay. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy optional activities if interested such as village walk, fishing, kenoing in narrow canals etc.    

Day 11: Thekkady to Alleppey (125 kms / 3 hrs)             
After breakfast, board your traditional houseboat towards to alleppey through the Vembanad Lake. Enjoy cruising through the incredible backwaters of kerala, where the languid pace and lush tropical scenery is interrupted only by close-up sights of typical vibrant village-life.

If you want your chef to prepare special meals for you then just move out to buy fresh prawns, crab or karimeen from local fishermen for your special meal on board.

Day 12: Alleppey to Kochi Airport (85 Kms / 2 hrs)             
After breakfast, disembark from your house boat and transferred to Kochi International airport to take your flight to fly back home with the sweet memory of our Golden Triangle Tour.
